Push Device Actions

Kiosk Browser Remote Management provides a number of "push actions" which can be used against individual devices or groups of devices.

When requesting one of the below actions a push notification is sent to the device requesting it handles the action accordingly.

Browser: Clear Cache and reload Kiosk URL
Clears the Cache on selected device(s) and reloads the Kiosk home page

Browser: Clear Cache, Cookes, Forms and reload Kiosk URL
Clears the Cache, Cookies & Form data on selected device(s) and reloads the Kiosk home page

Browser: Clear Cookies and reload Kiosk URL
Clears the Cookies on selected device(s) and reloads the Kiosk home page

Browser: Clear Forms and reload Kiosk URL
Clears the Form data on selected device(s) and reloads the Kiosk home page

Browser: Clear WebStorage on device
Clears the WebStorage (5MB maximum) on the device(s) and reloads the Kiosk home page

Browser: Reload Home Page
Forces the Kiosk home page to reload

Device: Screen Off
Switches off the device(s) display

Device: Screen On
Switches the device(s) display on

Remote Admin: Exit Application
Closes the Kiosk Browser application

Remote Admin: Force Kiosk Browser as default launcher (Knox Only)
For devices that are using the Samsung Knox security module only, this will force Kiosk Browser as the default launcher on the selected device(s)

Remote Admin: Open Kiosk Browser Settings
Opens the Kiosk Browser application settings on the device(s) for local admin

Remote Admin: Open TeamViewer QuickSupport
If TeamViewer Host is installed on the device, then selecting Remote Admin: Open TeamViewer QuickSupport in the Push Device Actions menu will force the device to run the background process (in the event the process has crashed and you need to start it).

If TeamViewer QuickSupport is installed on the device, then selecting Remote Admin: Open TeamViewer QuickSupport in the Push Device Actions menu will run the TeamViewer QuickSupport application on the device(s), for remote control of the device.

If TeamViewer QuickSupport is not installed, then it will open the Play Store entry for the application and allow download on the device(s).

Remote Admin: Open WiFi Settings
Opens the Android system WiFi settings on the device(s)

Remote Admin: Reboot device
For devices that are provisioned; this will force the device(s) to reboot

Remote Admin: Regain Focus
This will bring the Kiosk Browser application back to the front, if the launcher has been closed

Remote Admin: Restart Application
Restarts the Kiosk Browser application

Remote: Download Profile
Will download the allocated profile if the device(s) have not downloaded the most recent changes

Remote: Force Download Profile
This will force the profile to be downloaded regardless of its state, and overwrite any settings on the device

Remote: Get Device Event Data, normally uploaded daily via system job
Forces the Event Data to be uploaded for use in the Event report

Remote: Get Device Session Data, normally uploaded daily via system job
Forces the Session Data to be uploaded for use in the Session report

Remote: Identify device (show message box)

Remote: Request Status from Device
Forces the device(s) to poll the server (normally every 15 minutes)

Remote: Update device information
Updates all other data in the device(s) page, such as WiFi network, Android version, Kiosk Browser version etc...
